通过约束绑定小机关

shift and change shape
creat locator +v vertex
Constrain and aim -edit-reset-apply
修改目标向量数值 aim vector
保持偏移 maintain offset
点约束

制作思路:先把控制器与管道通过目标约束建立方向控制,然后把两个添加点约束联系来做出管道之间的抽送,再把圆形手柄父子约束控制在控制器上

For the rendering test

I tried to add some metallic materials to this model.I made the inner and outer shells of the robot arm because I wanted to animate the transformation later on and layering the model in advance would help me to rigging the model next week.

I tried to find some reference videos as I felt I still had a lot to learn about mechanical design and construction, I also got some inspiration from steampunk style robotic arms that other people had made in reality, and I found some mathematical modelling that I thought would be very interesting to incorporate the principles into the arm
